Furnace Face or furnaceface.jpg is the name of an image of what appears to be a face visible in the flames of an open furnace. The image is very low quality and seems to have been photographed on a monitor.
The story goes that the image is actually a still from a video cassette recorded at some point in the 90's in Russia. Supposedly several people are in this lost video performing some sort of demonic or paganistic ritual in an abandoned factory. The old iron furnace was used in the ritual to summon a spirit or demon, which appears to have been performed successfully.
Another story states that the image is a still or photo from a murder and that the image captures the burning remains of some unknown victim.
