New YouTube channel

I made a YouTube channel for Gainsborough Recordings. I plan on uploading jams, sample sessions, live recordings and other junk relating to making noise and experimental music.

The video above is a recording from a practice session I decided to do tonight for my project Corpse Animated By Machines, a group project that I solo now and again but i'd rather my band mates join me as I've got enough solo projects.

Where ya been at mate?

Made a return to noise and experimental music, some of the projects I'm in now are Spaztik Wanker and Corpse Animated By Machines. Setup "Gainsborough Recordings" as a label to put this stuff out.

I'm still working on a particular Man Outdoors album, will be working on it for a while as I learn some tricks with my synths and recording methods.

Visually i'm working on a big video project this year that also involves me performing as Corpse Animated By Machines. The project is a several hour long multimedia variety show called "Bartels Bloodbath!" and is to be released this Halloween if we can get everything shot. It will hopefully include Creepypasta reading, horror video game playing, film watching and filmed wrap-arounds, assuming all goes right.

Astrophotography and stuff.

I splurged recently and got myself the Pixel 7 Pro. Tonight was a good night to try the astrophotography mode so I tried to see how well the zoom lens would work and for what it is, I'm happy.

Jupiter and Venus...I think.

Thank you Ulanzi, I really like your stuff

Here are the products in the second picture if that's something you need to know.

Keats in the Studio

Keats making the beats!

It's been a fair while since we've had ColbKeats around and way to long since I got him to come and bash on some of my newer gear. Keats usually works with Native Instruments software and hardware, more soft-synth and MIDI controller based workflow but we had a blast jamming and running him thru Ableton live for old times sake. He likes my RD-8 and to be fair I like it too.

BACK FROM THE GRAVE, OBLIVIOUSLY!

Its seems oblivious.cc has returned!, still leaving us in a state of suspense for the eventual revolution.
I can't wait! but I must.

Carl, keep on raving buddy, the party never die's it just changes venue.
Maybe one day you'll find that magic circle.
